This is the first painting from a new series I’ve been developing over the past months.
After years of experimenting with different styles, techniques, and mediums, I felt a strong pull to slow down and focus. Not to limit creativity, but to give it direction.
This series is inspired by the ocean. Not the surface, but the depth beneath it. The waves and currents are what we see on the outside. Who we truly are exists far below that, calm, steady, and unmoved, even when life feels stormy or chaotic. Whenever I’m near the ocean, especially looking out into the distance, I feel a sense of coming home. This piece was created to capture that feeling and to bring it into a space where it can be felt every day.
