ABOUT DEEP ESSENCE

“Deep Essence” is the third painting from my Inner Ocean series. While the first piece explored stillness and the second explored inner movement, this work moves into intensity. There is visible energy in this piece — motion, tension, a sense of forces colliding and dissolving. It reflects those moments in life when everything feels loud, fast, and unsettled. Thoughts move in different directions. Emotions rise and fall. It can feel like everything is happening at once. But this series is not about chaos. It is about what exists beneath it. The ocean makes this clear. On the surface there are waves, storms, and constant motion. Yet the deeper you go, the quieter it becomes. Beneath the turbulence, there is something steady and unmoved. This painting represents that place. It speaks to those who feel deeply, who know what it is like when life feels intense, yet understand that somewhere underneath all of it, there is a grounded center that does not shift. For me, the ocean has always been a reminder of that truth. You do not lose yourself in the depth. You reconnect with what has always been there. “Deep Essence” was created to bring that grounded presence into a space, a reminder that even when movement exists above, something steady remains below.
