ABOUT DEEP ALLOWING:
“Allowing” is the sixth painting from my Inner Ocean series. This piece was created from a different place. Instead of directing or shaping every movement, I allowed the materials to move more freely. The process felt less controlled and more intuitive, and that shift is visible in the work. There is calm in this painting, but it is not empty calm. It holds depth. The layered resin and ink create a quiet sense of movement beneath the surface — subtle, fluid, and organic. The tones of blue and turquoise soften into one another, creating a feeling that is both grounded and expansive. This work speaks to those who value quiet luxury, people who understand that calm does not need to announce itself to be powerful. It is understated, yet it holds attention. This artwork works beautifully in entry areas, hallways, above a sideboard, or in more intimate living spaces where intention and atmosphere matter.
